APACHE LONGBOW for Windows 95
(c) Digital Integration Ltd 1996
The Apache CD-ROM must be in the CD-ROM drive to run Apache after
installation.
Release notes
------------------
Apache Win95, and Apache DOS probably will not communicate with each
other over the network. The reason for this is that in Win95,
packets to networks other than your own get routed. This would crash
Apache Win95, and so machines on other network numbers are ignored.
There is a program called netcheck which will listen for Apache
trying to connect to machines. If you run this in a DOS prompt,
and run the DOS version of Apache on the DOS machine, you will get
a network number reported. In the IPX driver in Win95, you can set
the network address. If you set this to the DOS network number, the two
should happily play with each other.
